Handgun Permit to Carry Training

This class covers the basic fundamentals of handgun use and possession, as well as gun regulations as they apply in Minnesota and other states. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an endorsed certificate, allowing you to apply for your permit with your local sheriff's department. Participants must be at least 18 years of age in order to apply for the permit. Please bring your own handgun, 30 rounds of ammunition, and protective and ear wear to the outdoor range qualification shoot immediately following the classroom training. Your fee includes range fees, one-on-one coaching, information packet, certificate of completion, quick reference wallet card, and a target. Guns are available to rent for an additional $30 fee.
