Annual Boiler Training for School Districts

This 8 hour course is designed especially for Minnesota school districts that want to meet their lawful boiler operator annual training requirements. (This training is required by law.) Minnesota Statute 326B.974 School Engineer, Subd. 2. School District Training States:

A school district shall allow to occur annually at least eight hours of training related to boiler operation to a licensee described in subdivision 1. The training must be administered by a licensed first or chief class engineer during the licensee’s normal working hours. Two hours of the required training shall occur in the boiler room and must include demonstration of tasks associated with operating boilers. The tasks associated with operating boilers acceptable for the training must be from the list of approved tasks supplied by the chief boiler inspector.
